In a rain-soaked Neo-Tokyo, a disgraced AI detective hunts a serial killer whose victims exist in two realities simultaneously.
About This Film
Set in 2087 Neo-Tokyo, Detective Rei Nakamura was disgraced after her neural AI partner malfunctioned during a hostage situation. Now working the Undercity graveyard shift, she stumbles onto murders where victims die twice: once in meatspace, once in the neural overlay. The killer exploits a flaw in the consciousness-sharing network, and the cover-up goes to the corporate spires above.
